Interview for the selection of Research Associate and Senior Research fellow for the AICRP

on MSPE project

Applications are invited from eligible and desirous candidates for a walk-in-interview on 10.11.2022 at 10:00 AM for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and Research Associate (RA) purely on temporary basis under "All India Coordinated Research Project" on "Micro and Secondary Nutrients and Pollutant Elements" project in the Department of Radiotracer Laboratory, College of Agriculture, Kerala Agricultural University, Vellanikkara as per the details given below:1.Senior Research Fellow @Rs.31,000/- per month + eligible HRA

2.Research Associate @Rs.54,000/- per month + eligible HRA (with Ph.D) (OR) Research Associate @ Rs. 49000/- per month + eligible HRA (without Ph.D)

Interested candidates are requested to attend a walk-in interview with filled application form (download from the website www.kau.in) and relevant documents as a proof on 10.11.2022 at 10:00 A.M. at College of Agriculture, Kerala Agricultural University, Vellanikkara, Thrissur 680656. Selected candidates will be appointed on contract basis and they will not have any other claims in future appointments or service benefits.

Terms and conditions for the appointment of SRF and RA under AICRP on MSPE project at RTL, COA Vellanikkara:

The candidate must bring all the original certificates including experience certificate original with them for the selection interview.

ii. The appointment is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis; is co- terminus with the project and liable for termination at any time in case of unsatisfactory performance.

iii. There is no provision of absorption /re-employment in KAU/MSPE after termination of the time bound project and the candidate will have no claim in KAU/MSPE other than to receive the consolidated remuneration attached to the post. The appointment will not confer on him/her any right of permanency or regularization in KAU MSPE.

iv. The contractual services of SRF & RA post are on full time basis. v. No TA/DA is admissible for candidates appearing in the interview.

vi. Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature. vii. The nature of job is contractual from the date of joining till the conclusion of the project

whichever is earlier, subject to satisfactory performance. viii. The job responsibility is to provide support in research and other activities of the project and

any duty assigned by the Principal Investigator of the project.

ix. Age: 35 years for men and 40 years of women for SRF and 40 Years for men 45

Years for women for RA as on Interview Date (Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST

and03 years for OBC as per ICAR rules). x. The candidate, if selected will discharge all such duties that are attached to the post as per the project guidelines & rules and that may be assigned to him/her from time to time by the

Principal Investigator (PI) of the project.

xi. The decision of the Principal Investigator(PI) of the MSPE project at RTL, KAU, Thrissur, Kerala would be final and binding on all aspects. xii. Selected candidate can be discontinued owing to administrative reasons at any time by issue

of one month notice. xiii. The PI of the project has the right to terminate the service of temporary appointment if the
