Notification

Application are invited from eligible candidates for the selection as Assistant Professor (Contract) in the following discipline with a monthly consolidated emolument of Rs.44100/-at Aromatic and Medicinal Plants Research Station, Odakkali, which is under the Kerala Agricultural University

Posts-assistant professor (biochemistry)

Assistant professor -Agronomy

⚫ The appointment will be purely provisional for 1 year period or till regular appointment in

the post, whichever is earlier.

⚫ Candidates should also possess NET conducted by the ICAR/UGC/CSIR/AICTE or similar test accredited by the university Grants Commission. In the absence of candidates with NET, candidates without NET but qualifying all other requirements will be considered.

• Proficiency in Malayalam preferred.

The Master's Degree should be from a University recognized by Kerala Agricultural University. They should also possess a minimum of 55% marks, without any grace marks, in the traditional system or equivalent grade in a point where grading system is followed. A relaxation as 50% in marks is admissible to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Physically or visually disabled persons upon the production of sufficient documents in proof of the claim.

⚫ The candidates will have no claim in the university other than the Right to receive the consolidated remuneration of Rs.441007 per month attached to the post. The appointment will not confer on him or her any Right of Permanency or regularisation in KAU. Selected candidates will be eligible for 1 Casual leave per month subject to a maximum of ten per year

They should be citizens of India and shall not be over 40 years age as on 01/03/2022 SC/ST/OBC and differently abled persons are eligible for relaxation in age limit as per the prevalling Rules of the Government of Kerala and that of the University

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

An agreement in the prescribed form will be executed by the candidate in the stamp paper worth Rs.200/ if selected for appointment. The candidates, if selected will discharge all such duties that are attached to the post as per KAU Act / Statutes/ Regulations & Rules and that may be assigned to him/her from time to time by the Head of Institution or Departments

The candidates selected will not have any claim for future appointment in KAU They will be entitled only for receiving the emolument attached to the post.

The appointment will be purely on temporary basis as per the standing instructions & regulations of KAU.

⚫ The University reserves the Right to terminate the service of appointees if the performance is found unsatisfactory or any such defects noticed

Download excel sheet and notification from the website www.kau.in/www.amprs.kau.in Fill all the cells in excel sheet and send the same as e mail attachment to amprsjobs@gmail.com on or before 18-11-22

Application in the format given as annexure-1 in the notification, along with all relevant documents and copy of ID proof must be submitted as hard copy at the time of interview only and only excel form must be sent on or before 18-11-22

Interview

Shortlisted candidates after initial screening for admissibility to interview will have to appear for interview with filled in application (in format given as annexure-1), with self attested copies in proof of age, caste, qualification and experience etc. Original certificates and documents should be produced for verification at time of interview. Date and time of interview will be informed by reply mail and also will be published in website http://www.amprs.kau.in. Communication regarding date of interview will not be sent by post.

AMPRS Odakkali is located 10 km on the Perumbavoor - Kothamangalam route on the Aluva-Munnar road, in Ernakulam Dist. Kerala. It is 25 km from Cochin International Airport and 28 km from Aluva railway station.

documents listed under (2) & photo affixed on application

  1. Originals of all the relevant documents in the list below
  2. Photo ID card

ii. Certificate to prove date of birth

iii. B.Sc. degree certificate iv. B.Sc. mark list

v. Post graduate degree certificate

vi. Post graduate degree mark list and NET Certificate

vii. Additional qualifications such as Ph.D, UGC etc if any

viii. Certificate of experience in related jobs, if any

ix: Scientific publications, other trainings & certifications in the field, if any FOR FURTHER INFORMATION
