WALK-IN INTERVIEW FOR THE POST OF TEACHING PERSONNEL

Applications are invited for engaging 'Teaching Personnel in the following disciplines of the College of Basic Sciences & Humanities. The posts are tenable only for 1st Semester of Academic Year 2022-23.

Remuneration & Essential Qualifications:

Rs. 650/- per hour with a maximum of Rs. 30,000/- per month for candidates fulfilling the eligibility of Assistant Professor in the discipline or Rs. 550/- per hour with a maximum of Rs. 25,000/-per month for the candidates possessing Master's degree only in the concerned discipline. Doctorate Degree in the subject concerned or related field. Master's degree in the concerned discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent in the point scale system. The NET/SLET with be an essential

qualification for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professor or equivalent in the discipline where

NET/SLET is conducted by the ICAR/UGC/CSIR or any other Central/ State Govt Agency.

Important Information:

1. Interested candidates may appear for the walk-in interview along with a brief biodata in the attached format on 19.11.2022, in the College Seminar Room, College of Basic Sciences &

Humanities, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar-263145, at 10.00am.

2. The candidates should bring their original certificates and one set of self-attested copies of their certificates, with respect to academic qualifications, teaching experience, publications and reservation category as applicable and indicated in the application form, at the time of interview. 3. The terms and conditions of engagement will be as per policy approved by the University.
3. The College further reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions or may decide not to fill any of the positions, at its discretion without assigning any reason."
4. No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for attending the interview and no separate intimation be made for the interview.

6. In the event that no eligible candidate is available at the time of interview from the reserved categories, the position may be filled from open category candidates, considering the necessity for the teaching faculty in the College, as per University rule.
