Advertisement for the Post of Project Technical Officer and Project Technician III

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the post of Project Technical Officer and Project Technician III on a purely temporary basis (coterminous with the project) under the following project at Electron Microscope Facility. Department of Anatomy, AIIMS, New Delhi.

Essential Qualifications:

Project Technical Officer: Graduate in science with five-year work experience or Master's degree in Science + two-year experience or BTech with four-year work experience or MTech in Engineering

Project Technician III: 10+2 in science with a two-year diploma in MLT or BSC Degree.

Work experience in Electron Microscopy of biological samples or computer science will be preferred. Experience will be calculated from the date of award of the essential qualification from the Institute/University.

Work Responsibility: The selected candidates must work in the department for the sample analysis and

imaging of the users' samples beyond office hours (7:00am to 4:00pm or 2:00pm 10:00pm) to maximize the usage of the equipment and decrease the waiting time of the samples. The revenue generated in the EM facility due to user's payments (deposited in the research section) will be used for providing the salaries of the above Technicians. The performance of the selected candidates will be evaluated on a yearly basis, and their tenure will be extended upon satisfactory performance based on the number of samples analyzed and carnings from their work on different equipment at the facility.

Fellowship Amount: For PTO: 32000 pm and Technician III: 18000 pm

Age: Maximum 30 years

Project Duration: from 01-10-2022 to 30-09-2027
