VACANCY DETAILS
1. (Vacancy No. 22122301410) Thirteen vacancies for the post of Archivist (General) in National Archives of India, Ministry of Culture (SC-01, OBC-03, EWS-01, UR-08). The post is permanent. General Central Service Group- "B" Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. Pay Scale: Level 08 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. Age: 30 years. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: (A) EDUCATIONAL: Master's Degree in History with a paper in Modern Indian History from a recognized university or institute. (B) EXPERIENCE: (i) Diploma in Archives and Record Management from a recognised university or institute and two years' experience in an Archives Office in supervisory capacity or research or teaching of Modern Indian History at under graduate level in a recognised institution or university; OR (ii) Three years' experience in an Archives Office in supervisory capacity or research or teaching of Modern Indian History at under graduate level in a recognised educational institution or university. DESIRABLE: (i) English as one of the subject of study at degree level; (ii) Diploma or Certificate in Computer Applications or Information Technology; (iii) Certificate of proficiency from a recognised university or institute in foreign or other Indian languages besides candidate's mother tongue. NOTE-I: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. NOTE-II: The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, if at any stage of selection the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from this community possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them. DUTIES: To perform duties like editing, annotating, publication of historical documents, supervise the work of the section for day to day supply and restoration of records and search cases, taking action for accessioning and arranging of records transferred, implement the various provision of Public Records Act 1993 and Public Records Rules 1997 by way of performing/undertaking appraisal of records, vetting of records retention schedule, inspection of Departmental Records Rooms, tendering advice on records, providing guidance to research scholars. deliver lectures to trainees, organize exhibitions of documents, supervise and compile the Indexes and preparation of automated reference media of records housed and any work assigned by the DG of archives and senior officers. HQ: National Archives of India, Janpath, New Delhi. All India Service Liability (Delhi, Jaipur, Puducherry, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar). Any Other Condition: New Pension Scheme.
2. (Vacancy No.22122302110) Five vacancies for the post of Specialist Grade III (Paediatrics), Department of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (SC-01, OBC-01, EWS-01, UR-02) (PwBD-01). "Of the five vacancies, one vacancy is reserved for candidates belonging to category of Persons with Benchmark Disability (PWBD) viz. Locomotor Disability including Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy Cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack Victims and Muscular Dystrophy with disability i.e. Both legs affected but not arms (BL) or One leg affected (R or L) (OL) or Leprosy Cured (LC) or Dwarfism (DW) or Acid Attack Victims (AAV) and Muscular Dystrophy (MDy). The vacancies are also suitable for candidates belonging to category of Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) viz. Blindness and Low Vision with disability i.e. Low Vision (LV), Deaf and Hard of Hearing with disability i.e. Hard of Hearing (HH), Locomotor Disability including Cerebral Palsy. Leprosy Cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack Victims and Muscular Dystrophy with disability i.e. Both legs affected but not arms (BL) or One leg affected (R or L) (OL) or Leprosy Cured (LC) or Dwarfism (DW) or Acid Attack Victims (AAV) or Muscular Dystrophy (MDy). Multiple disabilities (MD) i.e. at least two disabilities from the categories of the disabilities indicated above. The post is permanent. Central Health Service Non-Teaching Specialist Sub Cadre Group 'A'. Pay Scale: Level 11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus NPA Age: 40 years. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: (A) EDUCATIONAL: (1) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, (102 of 1956), Holder of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post-graduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned speciality or Super- speciality mentioned in Section-A or Section-B in Schedule VI of CHS Rules, 2014 and CHS amendment Rules 2019 ie. Doctor of Medicine (Pediatrics); or Diplomate National Board (Pediatrics); or Diploma in Pediatrics; or Diploma in Child Health. (B) EXPERIENCE: Three years' experience in the concerned Speciality or super-speciality after obtaining the first Post- graduate degree or five years' experience after obtaining the Post-graduate Diploma, Note-1: Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.) or Magister Chirurgiae (M. Ch.) qualification of three years" duration shall be counted towards requirement of experience in the concemed broad speciality. Note-2: Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.) or Magister Chirurgiae (M.Ch.) of five years' duration shall be taken as three years for completion of post graduate degree and the last two years of the said Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.) or Magister Chirurgiae (M.Ch.) shall be counted towards requirement of teaching experience. NOTE-1: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. NOTE-II: The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, if at any stage of selection the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from this community possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them. DUTIES: (1) To conduct and guide research work in the speciality: (ii) To render patient care in the speciality; (ii) Any other duties that may be assigned by the authorities from time to time. HQ: Delhi, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshdweep. Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana and Kamataka. However, they may be posted anywhere in India. Any Other Condition: The other conditions of service as laid down in the CHS Rules, 2014, and other rules in force from time to time in particular: (i) Private practice of any kind what so ever shall not be allowed including any consultation and laboratory practice (ii) The candidate selected will, If so required shall be liable to serve in any Defence service or post connected with the Defence of India, for a period not less than four years including the period spent in training, if any Provided that such officer shall not (a) be required to serve as aforesaid after the expiry of ten years from the date of appointment or from the date of joining the service, (b) Ordinarily be required to serve as aforesaid after attaining the age of 45 years. (iii) All the vacancies are permanent. But the vacancies are filled on temporary basis and the appointees are confirmed/made permanent on satisfactorily completion of period of probation.
3. (Vacancy No.22122303210) One vacancy for the post of Scientist 'B' (Neutron Activation Analysis) in Central Forensic Science Laboratory, Directorate of Forensic Science Services, Ministry of Home Affairs (UR-01). The vacancy is suitable for candidates belonging to category of Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) viz. Blindness and Low Vision with disability i.e. Blind (B) or Low Vision (LV), Deaf and Hard of Hearing with disability i.e. Deaf (D) or Hard of Hearing (HH), Locomotor Disability including Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy Cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack Victims and Muscular Dystrophy with disability i.e. Both legs affected but not arms (BL) or One leg affected (R or L) (OL) or One arm affected (R or L) (OA) or One leg and One arm affected (OLA) or Leprosy Cured (LC) or Dwarfism (DW) or Acid Attack Victims (AAV). The post is permanent. General Central Service, Group "A" Gazetted. Non- Ministerial. Pay Scale: Level 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. Age: 35 years. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: (A) EDUCATIONAL: Master degree in Chemistry or Physics or Forensic Science with Chemistry or Physics as one of the subjects during all the three years of Bachelor of Science from a recognised University or Institute. (B) EXPERIENCE: Three years experience of analytical methods and research therein in the field of Neutron Activation Analysis from a government recognised organization or institution. DESIRABLE: One year experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory under the Central or State Government or Union Territory administration after obtaining the minimum prescribed educational qualifications, NOTE: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. DUTIES: Crime Case Examination, giving evidences in the Court of Law, Crime Scene Examination, providing guidance to the junior scientific staff for case analysis, R&D activities on Forensic Science and imparting training in the respective field of forensic specialization to the trainees from different investigating agencies / forensic science labs and other organizations. HQ: New Delhi with Laboratories at Chandigarh, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Kamrup (Assam), Pune & Bhopal. In connection with performing the duties, the officer may be required to serve in any part of India. Any Other Condition: (i) Leprosy Cured persons are suitable for the post of Scientist 'B' (Neutron Activation Analysis) in CFSLS subject to the condition that their upper limbs are functioning normally. (ii) Acid attack victims are suitable for the post of Scientist 'B' (Neutron Activation Analysis) in CFSLs provided that their vision and hearing have not been impaired.
