APPOINTMENT OF VICE-CHANCELLOR

 

The Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (Deemed to be University) is a NAAC A++ accredited and UGC Category-I Graded Autonomy University, located at Bhubaneswar. It has been ranked in Top 25 Universities in all editions of NIRF India Rankings and also featured in QS World University Rankings and THE World University Rankings. In NIRF-2022, it has been ranked 16" in University, 18th in Medical, 27th in Engineering, 10th in Dental and 9 in Law categories.

 

The University offers Under Graduate, Post Graduate, Doctoral and Post Doctoral programmes in Engineering & Technology, Medical & Dental Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Nursing, Management, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Agriculture, Law and Veterinary Sciences.

 

The University is looking for a distinguished academician possessing highest level of competence, integrity, morals and institutional commitment with a minimum of ten years of experience as Professor in a University or ten years of experience in an equivalent position in a reputed research and/or academic administrative organisation with a proof of having demonstrated academic leadership for the post of Vice Chancellor.

 

Candidate wishing to take up the challenge may send their bio data with details of qualification and experience in education, research and administration latest by 31" December 2022 to the hrd@soa.ac.in with a write up on his/her vision for the University and road map of future growth of Siksha 'O' Anusandhan giving reference of three eminent persons who are versed with his/her academic, administrative capabilities and leadership. The tenure of the Vice Chancellor shall be of five years and age of superannuation is 70 years.

 

A Search-cum-Selection Committee may invite recommendations from the referees and call for personal discussion for three names with the Chancellor.
