JOB PROFILE

 

The ideal candidate should be a B. Tech/MCA/M.Sc. in relevant

 

fields and possess 6+ years' relevant experience. He/she must have experience of implementing at least one project involving Data Centre, Server & Storage, and Network & Security Solutions for the Head Office and branch offices. Good technical skills in IT Infrastructure Solutions, experience in Red Hat Linux/IBM AIX and Oracle, knowledge of data backup and restorations, capability to handle Network products like Routers, switches and load balancers, and security products like firewalls and Antivirus will be essential. Knowledge of Python and shell scripting along with ITIL Foundation Certification or equivalent will be advantageous.

 

Deputy General Manager - IT Infra

 

Contributing to the definition of infrastructure strategy and policy

 

. Assuming responsibility for end-to-end delivery of the IT Infra Project tasks

 

. Designing, Selecting, Executing, Managing and Monitoring IT Infrastructure project

 

Working with Project Managers to create Low level design for the projects by following Industry Best practice standards Contributing to the management of risk towards ensuring

smooth functioning of systems Working with local mine site teams to achieve desired outcomes Assisting the Lead Systems & Network Engineering

 

Technologist and ensuring that IT infrastructure initiatives adhere to the roadmap

 

. Working with designers, Project Service Architects and Architecture, Governance & Standards for input, and understanding and influencing changes in architecture

 

policies and strategy

 

Assuming full responsibility towards ensuring the

 

Infrastructure component strategy of the complex, most critical and usually costliest components meets the business requirements within budget

 

Managing service delivery activities and Contract

 

management for IT Infrastructure Generating and managing service delivery plan, key

 

deliverables, marshal resources as required Being involved in Risk Management and Project Management
