Maharashtra Institute for Transformation (MITRA), Government of Maharashtra, is established as a dedicated think tank for the State Government, vide Government Resolution No., Nitia- 2022/C.R.37(Part-1)/Ka-1412 dated 11.11.2022. It will carry out a directional role, strategically charting the future of the State and will provide specialized inputs strategic, functional, and technical - to the State Leadership and the State Government Departments, on matters critical to the fulfilment of the development agenda. MITRA will be a state-of-the-art resource center with the necessary knowledge and skills that will enable departments of the State Government to act with speed, promote research and innovation, provide strategic policy vision for the government, and deal with contingent issues.

Government of Maharashtra is looking to appoint an officer for the position of Chief Executing Officer on Nomination in consultation with Selection committee.

1. Job Description

Drive the overall functioning of MITRA

• Formulate and execute MITRA strategy, build and oversee the MITRA Think-Tank team • Develop the vision, strategy, and business model of MITRA in consultation with the experts and stakeholders of the respective sectors Formulate long term strategic plan and framework necessary for programmatic interventions Foster collaborations and partnerships with global and domestic stakeholders (academia, organizations, associations NGOs, developmental agencies, Think Tanks, research institution etc.) Drive the overall functioning of the Think Tank of the State with newer initiatives, approaches, and programmes Foster cooperative federalism through structured support initiatives and mechanism • Drive and monitor the performance of key State metrices and performance indicators Promote Technology adoption, analytics, and e-Governance initiatives across different departments

• Monitor and manage Aspirational Districts and Blocks • Ensure setting up of knowledge-based repository for the State covering all Sectors

• Create a knowledge, innovation, and entrepreneurial support system through a collaborative community of national and international experts and partners. ■ Conceptualize new concepts needed for growth of the State in consultation with the Think-Tank • Create a platform for inter sectoral and inter department communication to accelerate the implementation of developmental agenda

Evaluate and assist in new avenues of PPP for all sectors across the State
