JOB PROFILE

 

The ideal candidate should be a B. Tech/MCA/M.Sc. in relevant fields and possess 6+ years' strong Oracle Database Administration experience in maintaining high availability of databases for global operation using Oracle RAC and Data Guard/Standby databases. Candidate should have performed multiple Patching cycles (one off patch, PSU Patches) of Grid Infrastructure and Database and major Database Upgrades, Possessing a deep understanding of Oracle Architecture, RAC, Grid Infrastructure (CRS, ASM), RMAN. Data Guard/Physical Standby and experience of managing multiple RDBMS on large systems, the candidate should also possess strong experience in Backup and Recovery, Database Performance Tuning. Along with hands-on experience of Oracle Database Migration and Oracle Enterprise Manager. Experience of working on Cloud (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)), working knowledge of Exadata and OCI/AAS, and an Oracle Certification, preferably OCP would be advantageous.

• Assuming responsibility for the operation of systems and databases which are Oracle based, and support critical

 

business operations

 

Performing administration and analysis for multiple production

 

environments and recommending new and novel solutions towards improving availability, performance and supportability Bringing a combination of deep technical knowledge with administration/analysis knowledge of database infrastructure towards providing end to end solutions for Oracle based database management systems

 

Assuming responsibility for Oracle Patching, Backup and recovery RMAN, Performance and Tuning, managing database Objects, Change Management, Scheduling of jobs, troubleshooting database problems, working on IBM AIX or Windows Platform, Data guard Configuration and refreshing Oracle DB or restore/Exp on installation of Oracle software Reporting to the General Manager (IT)

 

This is a contractual position for 02 years (Extendable maximum up to 05 years) and will be based at our
