Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for recruitment to the Group 'C' civilian post at Armed Forces Medical Stores Depot, Lucknow under the aegis of Ministry of Defence/Directorate General of Armed Forces Medical services Headquarters (DGAFMS):

Note 1: The number of vacancies is tentative and may increase or decrease at the time of final selection.

Note 2: UR-Un-reserved, SC-Scheduled Caste, ST-Scheduled Tribe, OBC-Other Backward Class(Non creamy Level), PwBD-Person with Benchmark Disabilities, EWS-Economically Weaker section, ESM-Ex-Serviceman.

2. The crucial date for reckoning the age limit is the last date of receipt of application.

3. Mode of selection: Selection will be made on the basis of competitive examination (Written) of 100 marks. The written test will consist of multiple choice questions of (1) General intelligence and Reasoning (ii) Numerical Aptitude (iii) General English (iv) General awareness and (v) General Trade knowledge. Written examination will be of two (02) hours duration. The standard of written test will be based on the minimum education qualification prescribed for the post.

Note:- Issue of admit card does not in any manner confer any right to offer of appointment.

4. General Instructions:

(a) Applications received after due date will not be considered and unit/depot will not be responsible for any kind of postal delay.

(b) Pre-scrutiny of the application in terms of age limit, minimum qualification, documents and certificates will be carried out by the depot before calling the suitable candidates for (c) The centre for examination for written test will ordinarily be the place where application is submitted and the same will be intimated to the candidate in due course.

(d) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test. (e) Selected candidate will be subjected to All India Service liability.

(f) Merely fulfilling the basic selection criteria does not automatically entitle a person to be called for written test.

(g) Candidates are to bring original certificates viz. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/ESM, educational qualification/technical and experience certificates at the time of the written test.

(h) Applications should be sent by Registered/Speed Post/Ordinary Post only. No application will be received by hand or by ordinary courier.

(i) Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
